BEAST - HOW TO LOVE

One of my closest friends to finally turn 21! :D We've known each other since the first year of poly, and by fate, we stuck together for the remaining years in the same classes (>.<) From our first group of friends (Patricia, Stuart, Amanda, Zainab, Qiu Wen, Troy) to meeting Che Wen ^^

Thanks for just being yourself, so that we can just discuss about our idols, shopping, our future paths and just being comfortable with each other's presence (be it stoning or on the phone)

You'd always say "I don't think I'll marry at an early age" and stuff, But I hope you'll find a man who cherish you lots, and will hold your hand even when you're old

Currently watching a few ongoing dramas at once, found some lovely ones...

kill me heal me
The storyline was great! Although referenced from a true story, the script has its own new storyline (only 7 different persona, unlike the actual story of 24!). The main casts were really brilliant in portraying their role. And at some point, you'll find yourself falling for the romantic antagonist ♥(the main character's other personality) :B

hyde jekyll & me
Ironically, this drama also revolves around a similar plot, whereby the main character suffers from D.I.D, though only 2 different persona in this one :D I came to know about this show from che wen cause Hyun Bin is the male lead ;) Not so much drawn into the drama yet, but who knows how it'll progress on in the later episodes

heart to heart
A really lovely drama with lots of indie scenes and songs in the background :) The plot is very laid back and slow paced, just the way I like it to be. And I really find myself captivated by some of the small details coupled with the songs (such as the sound of rain against the roof as the film tries to portray a general loneliness in everyone's life)

(17/01)HOT TOMATO @ NEX & CASH STUDIO @ BEDOK w/ aunt gina & them cuzzies


Another night filled with loads of fun :D First met Shawn & Aunt Gina at Nex in the evening and we walked ard while deciding what's for dinner. Decided to stop by Macdonalds for some freebies (Fries, drink & ice cream) ;} Nicholas joined us afterwards and we settled down for dinner at Hot Tomato. Real cheap & good food they have!

By the time we're done with dinner, it was already 9pm -o- Thus, we were deciding between a movie or a karaoke session, of which we chose the latter. And since we had to wait til 10:30pm for a session with Party World at Nex, we headed back east to Bedok. Luckily for us, there was a slot available at Cash Studio at Bedok :)

Had lots of crazy fits (even laughed til I teared) during the karaoke due to the HIGH bros xD We sang many oldies & tried many songs which we've attempted for the first time :D Many thanks to them for making my Sat night, a wonderful one~ And for all the treats throughout the night (my own tumblr, dinner, karaoke, taxi fares) :B
NTS: Will treat them back soon!

(14/01) ORCHARD CENTRAL AND GENKI SUSHI w/ alvin & leck qi

We originally decided to have dinner at 49 seats but after queuing for quite some time, leck suggested we dine at Lena's instead. And to which alvin decided on Genki XD #allthefoodcravings For the whole night, we talked about army, school, work, families, friends&acquaintances, food, houses, girlfriend&boyfriend (excluding me :})... Anyway, it has really been a long time since we talked, especially when everyone's so busy in our own way :\

And once again, they wanted to treat me (UvU) Love the presents too! :l I feel too blessed to have these few but close group of friends ♥ They all made my 21st REALLY REALLY REALLY memorable...

SLEEPER AGENT - WAVES

(13/01) BUGIS AND SSIKKEK w/ wei qi & ying hui

Met Wei Qi at Tampines and we decided to take buses to Bugis :) Was walking over to Bugis Plus when we saw my cousin, Shawn, who was with his friend ;) Budd and I kind of Shopped around aimlessly since we both weren't motivated to buy new clothes for this Chinese New Year... Considering the following birthday presents we have to buy this year for all the coming of age peeps :/ (21 this year yo!)
Met up with Ying Hui (Choong) about 2 hours later and they startled me with so many surprises! (>.<)

Firstly, there was this black yet colourful "happy birthday" balloon floating beside Choong :O I wanted to run from it at that moment, but it felt okay to be holding it later throughout the day :D Secondly, both Choong and Qi made this really pretty birthday card with my baby picture & our group photo. Thirdly, they bought for me an elegant looking Mango bag and Lastly, in the bag... they placed a Craftholic "RAB" doll ♥ Not just any Craftholic doll but a rainbow coloured one ^V^

We then roamed around Bugis before making our way to Ssikkek for dinner :D The raw meat were good, comparable to Tampines 1's! However, the service was disappointing :S We felt being stared at the whole meal, by the waiter >:( It was as if they wanted us to settle our food quickly and leave. However he did pass us a Fabreeze to remove the odour after we made payment :| Grateful to Choong & Qi for treating me (UvU) Afterwich, we headed to Shine Supermart for some korean ice cream :B :B :B

Lastly, we walked over to Suntec City, where we got lost and walked in circles for abt half an hr XD Though we chatted lots while strolling in the mall, and I kind of liked the feeling where most of the shops were already closed ♥

THE KNOCKS FT POWERS - CLASSIC

(09/01) STAYCATION OVER AT NAUMI HOTEL w/ xin yun & che wen

Met Xin Yun at Tampines in the noon time to rent some DVDS (Divergent, Oz the Great & Powerful) before heading down to City Hall to meet Che Wen from work. Met with some confusion when checking into the hotel but the staffs were patient in explaining the situation and they settled it to our advantage. After lunch at Raffles City Basment, we left for Kbox@Cineleisure for 3 hrs of singing. Strolled ard Orchard and bought the necessaries (tibits for our movies! - Cup Noodle, Sushi, Chips, Bread & Cakes >v<)

We skipped dinner and headed straight back with plans of an evening swim. To our dismay, we realised that the Infinity Pool closes at 6pm! Thus, we just headed up for a few pics and toured the hotel. Oh, and everything in the room is complimentary! :D (From the mini bars which had about 4 cans of soft drinks and a can of beer, some tibits to the coffee&tea) Anyway, I had no idea what we were doing, but we started the movie marathon only at 10pm :)

Halfway through Divergent, the girls surprised me with the cakes they bought from Lady M (a green tea mille crepes & a checkers cake ^^) I actually thought Che Wen was having that for dinner! Divergent was not bad, but very similar to the Hunger games in a way. Oz the Great & Powerful was super weird in the beginning, then cuter & funnier in the middle, and it eventually ends in a good note :)

Woke up to this! =v= We woke ard 8am and xin yun went for a swim. I couldn't stand the freezing water and came out after a few minutes :S Breakfast was filling, with pancakes, delicious scrambled eggs, bratwurst sausages, congee, and the list continues. Love the english breakfast tea as well and we snuck a few packets of tea from the buffet's self service area (>.<)

On the whole, it was an amazing staycation. At least I felt less at home, and a tad bit like any hotel stay overseas :)

a sense of the past

Recently read my Budd(Wei Qi)'s blog as she summarises her daily, weekly & monthly encounters. Am thinking that my blog is of too much "my emotions" and that it'll be a good idea to jot down some happenings. Imagining the "looking back at my life" part in future is quite a sweet thing, similar to how I feel whenever I go through my past diaries & schedulers. Haven't been recounting on my daily life since the secondary school days... so here goes~

(22/12) Dinner Date with Budd @ Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King :D YUM!
Although the place was cosy with limited space, we sat there long enough that our butt kept the seats warm as we had our little chats (>v<) Broke the news to budd about my future plans, a lil upsetting to listen to myself speak of this change in plans cause it won't be as good as my current path taken :\

Putting up the Christmas Tree, the present wrappings, company lunch & lucky dip, family dinner
Bought 3 different kinds of a certain present for the cuzzies, budd & yh while bought other stuffs for seet & my family :B And Shawn just *completed* his present today

(26/12) Lunch @ La Pizzaiola with Wei Qi, Seraph & Ying Hui :)
Talked LOADS about Seraph doing some of her modules in US, we were questioning her by the minute :b And then there was the cheeky discussion about boys ;)

(26/12) Went on to meet my cuzzies, Shawn & Nicholas, and my Aunt Gina for dinner at Timbre@The Arts House :D Long time since I've met up with them! (missing Dickson tho)
Eventually, it's always the last minute plans that works!
We "kinda" enjoyed the live band, and the fact that we had to strain our throats to make conversations amongst the noisy atmosphere (most of the noise were from the diners -.-) We then strolled down Clarke Quay & basked in the uplifting music


The Brother took off for GuangZhou :O Always having his grand trips, so jelly T.T

(30/12) Met them girlies, Xin yun & Che Wen for dinner @ Sukiyaki Sai, Orchard Central
We stuffed ourselves with meat, got brainfreezed by a mini bowl of ice cream & laughed hilariously as we window shopped around the area (>v<) Meet ups with them are packed with loads of fun! #3auntiestyrannizeTown


Spent my 2-0-1-5 New Year Celebration in a movie theatre with my sis & bro-in-law, watching The Night At The Museum 3 :B

(02/01) Another meet up with them cuzzies & their mum, and aunt Gina to watch the Seventh Son (tho I was very sick, made them worry bout me lots :( )
And lots of shopping as I accompany my Aunts while the boys got bored out ;b Somehow, they look like twins today, with the way they were dressed :) Ended up, our 2 families had dinner together Izakaya@MOF! Took up two tables of 6 pax each :O *Opps* Took things to another level as their family headed back to my house and we recreated some Chinese New Year scene xD Lovely night~

(04/01) And today! Learning's 21st Bday Party! ^^
Was still coughing and terrorized by phlegm hence I joined the party late @ NOM's Bistro. Alvin, Qi & Ning were all worried bout me cause I sounded so sick :/
Headed to ning's house afterwards and everyone was taking solo shots, polaroids & group pictures~ Oh so lively! Alvin, Leck Qi and I were all about reminiscing the past, when we would always hang out at learning's house after school :} From the narrow road towards her street to her home & all the fun things we used to do in her home :D Alvin got me and Qi christmas prezzies too ^^ Enjoyed the party so much and at the same time realised how much I've missed learning ;(


More meet ups than I had in the whole 2014 during these 2 months. Really loved my december & january ♥
