(28/02) So tonight, we had a mini celebration for shawn. A buffet at Sakura, Downtown East before we headed down to Ten Dollar ktv, Aranda Country Club. Although many of us were down with sorethroats or coughs, we ate & sang our hearts out :D
Unubore Deka - Conceited Detective
A 30-year-old single detective (Nagase Tomoya), who is under the illusion that he is popular with females is called 'Unubore' by friends. He is an ultra romantic and susceptible to conceitedness. He falls in love with female criminals at first sight each time. And so, he will thrust both the arrest warrant and marriage papers at her, proposing with the words, "If you marry me, I won't arrest you."
This drama sounds so nonsensical, which I believe will be packed with laughter :D Can't wait to start on it, esp when I've seen those crazy gifs of ikuta toma on tumblr *v* P.S. The following song pops up whenever Unubore thinks he's in love (and it gets so hilarious now just at the sound of this music!)

Ouroboros
The drama revolves around two childhood friends at an orphanage, Ryūzaki Ikuo(Ikuta Toma) and Danno Tatsuya(Oguri Shun), who both who have sworn revenge against an affluent organization, over the murder of their foster mom, Yuiko.
Ryūzaki become a police detective, while Danno becomes the leader of a gang of yakuza. Secretly together, they bring forward their plan to make the corrupt police system and the criminal organization collapse.
ARGHHHH~ My favourite duo from hana kimi ^ٮ^ The first two episodes were neat! Each with its own mystery and moral lessons.

With casts such as Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger (from Bridget Jones's Diary), what else can you expect?! A Damn Great movie, that's super touching as well! The story tells of a sports agent, acted by Tom Cruise, whom was at the top of fame, and how he fell to the pits of his career. Yet through all the downfalls, his colleague, played by Renee Zellweger, gives him all the support he ever needed and leaves the company with him to start a new agency. They start afresh, seeking to clinch contracts with sportsmen, those whom he once rejected when he was at the top.
(04/02) Met xin yun & che wen for some last minute shopping in lieu of CNY :D However, I only managed to get a white dress for patricia's 21st bday bash, upcoming in march :) After walking from ION orchard to Somerset 313, we decided to have Genki for dinner ^^ (a unanimous choice!) But we waited close to an hour long in the queue cause it was just so crowded~ :S Enjoyed our meal and the rest of the night before cabbing home
(05/02) Had a whole day with wei qi & ying hui at Nex today :D Had lunch at Kabe No Ana in the Jap street, whereby we ate jap fused spaghetti ^^ We had so much recollections about Chung cheng and were comparing our past schools (secondary vs poly/jc) And we gossiped a little ;) Afterwhich, we watched the movie "Wild", which wei qi quoted was "abstract but artistically beautiful" ᵕٮᵕ I was just bothered by the se*ual scenes (B[ (conservative old woman)
Hopefully this isn't all to february! Still looking forward to the upcoming meet up with wei qi this saturday and... Chinese New Year! which is when I'll be able to take a rest for 4 days! (other than the countless visitings :{ )
And I kind of think, why the female lead is trying to get back on track in her life and all, and how confused I feel right now about mine too... But that everyone should just do what they feel like doing, live life their own way (be it the hobos, hippies or the rockers in the movie) I should try to find my direction soon and stop wasting time :]
After work today, my bro and I decided to "da bao"(settle) our dinner at West Coast Plaza. Hence we stopped by West Coast Park for some exploring ;)

VALLIS ALPS - REPRIVE
The playground spaces were plenty! There were many different varieties of amusement, such as: the flying fox, the spider web which elevates to a scary height with 2 slides down, some tricky balancing beams, 3 different adventure playgrounds for kids (OvO) It was my wonderland~
My bro and I went on the flying fox 2 to 3 times to and fro, despite the stares from parents. I can never reach the opposite end :P And climbing up the spider web... my bro and I both agree was a tedious way up :O
There was also a SUPER big field which we spent 3 mins just to cross the diameter, and my bro commented how perfect it was as a soccer field. Nearby was a beach volleyball court which was so much more presentable than the one at East Coast. Then there was the jogging track just next to the sea, what a sight! It reminded me of either Taiwan or Japan, probably due to the slope down to the sea made by the breakwaters :D
And we left the park under the pink hues of the sunset. Too bad none of us had our phones with us for a snapshot :\ A pleasant exploration it was :)
