hue and cry

After watching Insurgent today, I kept thinking through what the movie's message was. For us audiences to be contented with our present lives, not having factions nor living under a strict system?

Or that our society is actually turning into something similar, where people who pursues knowledge & power (Erudites) fail to see the true purpose of the different roles every single one of us is required for: the justice seeking (Candor), the selfless & kind (Abnegation), the peaceful & cheerful (Amity) and the daredevils who sacrifice (Dauntless).

Well it just seems to me that the greater & powerful one becomes, they start to lose humanity. Excuses for their actions revolve round logic and efficiency. And sometimes it's not just the rich & mighty, we, as humans take for granted that we have one another. We start to show less concern for our surroundings, including nature and the land we were given. $Inequality btw rich & poor, $Global Warming, $Prejudice against another or simply $Selfishness; and everything starts falling out of place
